Effective December 15, 2023, President Sean M. O’Brien has instructed the General Executive Board to remand the Joe Hermoza decision to Joint Council 36 for further consideration of the penalty. The General Executive Board also concludes that while Joint Council 36 considers the penalty on remand, Mr. Hermoza shall remain in suspended status. Joint Council 36 should be instructed to issue its decision no later than January 31, 2024.
