At the April 5 Executive Board meeting, the board unanimously voted to have the By-Law amendments voted on by electronic (email) voting: as per Section 28 (Amendments) of the Teamsters Local Union No. 155 By-laws. it was then approved at the April 14th General Membership Meeting.
We have an external third party conducting the By-Law Amendment vote named Election Buddy. Your ballots are confidential and your vote cannot be seen by the administrator (Election Buddy) or Teamsters Local Union No. 155. Your votes are secret.
Election Buddy will be handling the election in its entirety; this includes ballots, member questions and concerns, and will count and certify the results. Members of the Ballot Committee will act as scrutineers when the ballot count is finalized.
Election Buddy will send out the ballots via email and or SMS (text message). If you have both, you will be able to vote either by email or SMS (text message). The ballots will be sent to you Tuesday, May 7th, 2024 at 8:00 am and the election will close on Thursday, June 6th, 2024 at 8:00 am.
You can expect an email from Election Buddy with your ballots from this email address Teamsters Local Union No 155 invitations@mail.electionbuddy.com and a SMS text message from either 1-877-225-8712.
