To ensure compliance with Security Services Act, Reg. 207/2008, all Security Division members and permittees must use union-issued uniforms and related material which is comprised of:
- Teamsters Local Union No. 155 Security Vest
- Teamsters Local Union No. 155 Security Sign
A Deposit Fee is required upon acceptance into the Security Division for the above union-issued uniform and related material.
When you are dispatched by the Local Union to a BC Council of Film Union (BCCFU) or Teamsters Local Union No. 155 signatory production or sanctioned event, you must:
- Wear a Teamsters Local Union No. 155 Security Vest
- Display a Teamsters Local Union No. 155 Security Sign on/in your vehicle
At no time shall Teamsters Local Union No. 155 uniforms and related material be used outside of BC Council of Film Union (BCCFU) or Local Union No. 155 signatory productions or sanctioned events.
Teamsters Local Union No. 155 Security Vests and Security Signs containing the Teamsters Local Union No. 155 logo are the property of Teamsters Local Union No. 155. They must be returned immediately upon request by a representative of the Local Union.
Should your circumstances change, and you are no longer available for work within the Security Division for Teamsters Local Union No. 155, you must return the vest and sign, and your deposit will be refunded.
Any violations of this policy’s terms will be strictly enforced.
